Serrano’s story began in November 2008 in a tiny place in the heart of Anchorage, Alaska. We are a new generation of old cocina. Our menu showcases the passion and love of our rich heritage and our unique family recipes that have been passed down through generations. We believe in the lost art of home cooking combined with a modern flare.
Serrano’s goal is to embrace and display traditional flavors as well as some “hidden gems” you’ve likely never tasted before. Using the best ingredients that are available we focus on making everything from scratch daily. In addition to hand-crafted corn tortillas and house-made salsas, we take great pride and extra time preparing our meats. We marinate our carne asada for over 24 hours and grill for a healthier lifestyle to offering our house crafted chorizo.
